Contrasts

Joshua in 15 years: Reeks of Banana Boat. No shoes, no shirt, no problem. Flashes sparkly smile to beach babe and says, "Want to go for a ride on my wave runner?"

Benjamin in 15 years: Smells like Coppertone SPF 85. Wears socks with flip flops. Pulls nasty faded hat down over eyes and says to beach babe: "You're sitting in my chair."

(Dearest Riley, This does not release you from prearranged marriage contract.)

Seriously, though, we had a great day yesterday breaking in, or just plain breaking, the slip n' slide. We are all sunburned and (mostly) loving it. It's amazing how we wait and wait for summer, then spend it complaining about the awful heat!

Here are some pics from last week of my little Yankees playing teeball (Joshua hit the ball and said, "I'm going to be a great hitter, Mom!"), Samantha falling asleep on the bathroom floor (it's the newest craze--sleep, don't bathe), and a picture of her on her four month birthday (yes, wearing a headband)! Stats: 13 lbs. 8 oz., 25 inches, almost rolling, almost sitting up, loves anybody that will talk to her, is tolerant of monster jams being rolled over her toes, tummy, and face.

So I totally remember those cute little outfits on Samantha(when you let us use them for Riley) It might be interesting, when our kids grow up, which Adams boy would she fall for? - I'd lean more towards Joshua, Riley has been a bit of a wild child lately!

I love that narrative about Joshua and Benjamin in 15 years, that is so funny!
