Sam has a habit of repeating things over and over, in different ways, in order to get her point across. Here is an interchange we had yesterday.

Sam: Can I have a sandwich with peanut butter and jelly for lunch?

Me: Sure.

Sam: Can I have a sandwich with peanut butter and jelly and some goldfish for lunch?

Me: Yep.

Sam: Can I have a sandwich with peanut butter and goldfish and jelly on my sandwich and yogurt for lunch?

Me: Uh-huh.

Gus: Sam, stop talking!

Sam: Can I have a sanwich with peanut butter and goldfish and yogurt and fruit snacks?

Gus: Sam, you're DONE!!

Sam: Can I have a sanwich with peanut butter and jelly on it and goldfish and yogurt and fruit snacks and a cookie after lunch and NOW I AM DONE TALKING!
