Just a quick note to say that we've returned safely to our homeland--Mexifornia. We were greeted with a heat wave...how nice! NOT! The temperature in our car read 113 degrees in Woodland, so the 103 degrees in San Jose seemed like a relief. At 9 pm, it was still 101 degrees. We got home and ran straight to the pool for a night swim...finally, something cool.
Hopefully tomorrow I'll get a minute to post some pictures and write a little bit!

The heat wave is killing me softly! I don't know how much longer I can handle it either!
it's amazing to me that i am in florida and utah and washington are hotter. maybe because i now live on a island surrounded by water but it is incrediably cool in florida this summer. i don't think we have hit high 90's yet in clearwater. what a relief but hang in there, fall will be here soon
