A few weeks ago, we got a new washing machine (Yay!), and a few days ago it broke (lame!), so today Luke switched out the new washing machine for the old one (which, thankfully, was still intact and in our garage). We did a load of laundry. I started a second load of laundry. A few minutes into the cycle, Benjamin comes into the kitchen and I hear a SPLASH...
"Uh, mom?"
I turned around to see that our new, old washing machine had FLOODED our laundry closet, dining area, and half of the kitchen.
It was fun to clean up.
And that is how we spent our holiday.
