Happy Valentine's Day!!

Since I'm not a flower and chocolate kind of girl, I am now the proud new owner of an alarm clock and "A League of their Own," courtesy of Luke, courtesy of Valentine's Day! Mom Adams watched the kids for an hour so we could go on a date last night. It was so nice. I got Luke tickets to the ball game, when the M's are in town, of course! It was a great Valentine's Day.

In other news, Willie got the stomach flu or something yesterday. Thankfully, Mom Adams was here. I slept right through it, but she probably spent the whole night cleaning puke. Yuck!

Benjamin is doing well. He continues to be very laid back and quiet. He's officially growing up too fast...leaving the newborn clothes and diapers behind. It's really sad to me this time.

Emmeline is the best big sister. I asked her what she wanted to do today and she said, "Just look at Benjamin!" She is willing to "watch" him whenever I have to do something, and she is constantly holding his hand or patting his head. It's so adorable to see!

Well that's it...I'm off to watch "A League of their Own" while Benjamin sleeps and grandma takes the kids to the zoo! To leave you with the best movie quote ever, "There's no crying in baseball!" Oh, and "Hey cowgirls, see the grass? Don't eat it!" Any more, Lin?

Jimmy Dugan: "Dottie, if you want to go back to Oregon and make a hundred babies, great, I'm in no position to tell anyone how to live. But sneaking out like this, quitting, you'll regret it for the rest of your life. Baseball is what gets inside you. It's what lights you up, you can't deny that."
Dottie Hinson: "It just got too hard."
Jimmy Dugan: "It's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great."

I think I laught the hardest when Rosie O'donell eats it when she runs out onto the field for the first time! My other favorite part is when Tom Hanks nails the "Evelyn's" little boy in the head with a baseball mit and he falls! It's probably not good that I find it so funny when other people fall on their faces...Probably because I do it alot too...
